Letter of Introduction

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter to introduce myself to you as I look forward to my internship experience. My name is Adam Brock and I am currently in my fourth year of my B.Ed. Degree in the Secondary Education Program, with a major in mathematics and a double minor in physical education and outdoor education.

I was born April 1, 1993 in Regina, Saskatchewan, and have lived here for all 22 years of my life. As a student, I attended Rosemont Community School for /grades K-8 and Martin Collegiate Institute for grades 9-12. My high school years were very busy, as I was always active in extracurricular activities throughout the school year. I decided to become a teacher because of the relationships I had developed with my teachers in class and through extracurricular activities. I look forward to being involved with extracurricular activities such as football and basketball and coaching throughout my career as a teacher to develop greater connections and relationships with students.

This internship opportunity is going to provide many benefits for me to develop personally and professionally as a becoming teacher. It will allow me to have a further understanding of secondary subjects, as well as develop my skills and practice.

I would like to thank you for this opportunity you are giving me to intern in your classroom. I look forward to working and learning alongside you at your school, and to get to know you and your students.
Best regards,

Adam Brock
