Music Monday: Wake Up

Hey everyone, hope you had a good weekend and are off to a good start for this week. I know on my last post I said how I felt as if it were the calm before the storm- meaning things at school and in life slowed down. Well, yesterday I took the time to fill out my agenda with important dates from now till the end of the semester, and it was as if i was slapped in the face by reality. I mean, it’s November 21st already. There are two weeks of school left, and 22 days until my last final. I definitely haven’t been doing as much homework as I should have been this last weekend and the ones before. To give you an example of how crazy this week is going to be for me, I have a math quiz Wednesday, an assignment for math due Thursday, a rough draft of an English essay due Thursday with the final copy due Tuesday the 29th, ECS 100 Field Logs are due next Monday, and I also have to shoot a second video of me instructing something for EPE 100 and write an essay comparing the two videos due on the 29th. I think it’s safe to say that the storm has arrived and is only getting stronger. I think it’s going to be a tough few weeks but I have to stay positive and stay focused in order for me to complete everything to the best of my abilities and remain sane. It’s time for me to wake up and smell the coffee. It’s time for me to put school first, spend my time well, and be productive.

This weeks song is from an incredible band that I’ve been listening to for years, their stuff keeps getting better and better. This live performance of one of their songs sends chills down my back. Truly amazing.
