Music Monday: Snow, snow, snow…

It’s inevitable folks. The snow is here. We’re lucky that it didn’t snow in October, but it finally came down upon us this last weekend. The roads are like ice, and it sucks! I’m waiting to get my winter tires on my car and then i’ll be good till spring, but until then I’m driving like a grandma on a good day. Last fall I totalled off my dads van by hitting a tree in the middle of McCarthy Blvd. on a night after we had the freezing ran, so I’m driving extra careful this year. I hope you are all making out okay and wish you luck this winter! Needless to say, winter’s just getting started!

This weeks song is one that I first heard at a friends cabin this summer and it brings up so many good memories of Summer 2011. I don’t hate winter as I love going out to the mountains and skiing and snowboarding, but nothing beats summer! And so with that, I leave you this song to warm you up.

  1. Okay, you definitely made my day today. I absolutely love this song! Just like you, it reminds me of summer and all the good times and memories that were formed. Winter sucks so this song is a good choice for your music monday! 😛

  2. I love this song too!!! It just brings back so many good memories from the past! It also reminds me of working at the swimming pool in summer! Great choice!

  3. Hahaha glad you both enjoyed it! Up ’till this summer I hated country music and found it painful to listen to, but after hanging out with the right people who showed me songs I’d enjoy, I ended liking a ton of country songs. I even made a playlist on my Youtube account with 25 country songs. This year’s Halloween weekend a friend of mine taught me how to line dance to country music. I was a line dancing fool by the end of the night! I love how country music reminds me of these good times that I’ll never forget!
