Music Monday: For my mom.

Grad 2011

Hey guys, it’s been a crazy and emotional week. My mother went to the hospital on Wednesday with bad stumach pains. X-rays showed there was a blockage in her big intestine, and a catscan proved it to be cancer. It was a shock to all of us, and things have been moving so fast ever since. She had surgery yesterday and they removed 25 inches of her intestine and she’s been recovering since.

The support has been amazing. My family and I are extremely thankful for having such an amazing support group to help my mom, my family and I get through this. It is greatly appreciated as the road to recovery begins. We couldn’t ask for better friends.

I dedicate this weeks song to my mom. It is from a band that she really enjoys, and I’ve always liked this song. However, it has taken a new meaning with the events of the last week and what’s to happen in the upcoming days, weeks, and months.

This weeks song: Cold Play- Fix You
